My sweet bliss receiving one of several awards for the 2010-2011 school year. A/B honor roll all year, excellent conduct, most motivated in art club, art club recognition, and she officially holds the record for the "sit and reach" stretching test at her elementary school!

Today was filled with lots of kid activities. Last soccer game for the smallest sunshine, kick off meeting for the Bliss' cheer 2011-2012 season, and then a football picnic to mark the end of the spring season for the teenager. I'm so proud of all the things these three stay involved in, and that they manage to keep schoolwork at the top of the to do list as well. Proud mom moment, indeed!

When I switch purses, I usually just dump everything into the next bag..so I shouldn't be surprised to find random things such as Orajel, a USB cord, old coupons, several different shades of lipstick, and a broken pen when I reach in there ;)

It makes me happy to find an awesome bargain on items we need, especially when they can play a dual role! Today we ended up with an almost new, very nice, leather jacket for $15 that will work for my sweet Bliss' "history alive" costume, as well as keep me warm this winter. I call that a big win for the savings account :)

Technically took this pic last night, but as you can see...the "$7 wedding nails" were a complete success. I've been to the beach, to soccer games, birthday parties, a wedding, cleaned the entire house without gloves...and they still look phenomenal. Easy to apply (and I stink at anything that involves the use of a steady hand) and great to look at. I will definitely use these again!
